The Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase Five & Six Timeline, Explained

The Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase Five & Six Timeline, Explained

Typical, you wait for one MCU film, and 16 come at once. This past weekend, Marvel Studios president, Keven Feige, was on hand at Comic-Con with a host of talent to announce the score of films that are set to come our way in the next few years.

Illustrated by a big picture backdrop of the timeline at the event, there will simply be no way to escape the multiverse as it takes over TV, film, social media and probably every other facet of popular culture up to 2025. Face it: it’s a superheroes world, and we’re just living in it.

Highlights look set to be the Ant-Man sequel, Loki series two, Blade, the new, Chris Evans-less Captain America and two more outings for the Avengers.

Feige explained that we’ve just come to the end of the neat-but-inexplicable Phase 4, while Phase 5 is due to start next year and Phase 6 will be the end of 2024, and all three of these phases will collectively be known as the “multiverse saga”.

In the meantime, here’s the cut-out-and-keep guide to when all these productions will be hitting the screen, in one handy place:
